Results from Rd 9 games played against Old Boys on Saturday

1st Grade: City won the toss and elected to bowl.
Old Boys were dismissed for a total of 101 runs in the 30th over. Best bowling:  Simon Toyer 4/10 off 3.3 overs; Aaron Dennis 3/15 off 8 overs.
In reply City hit 9/104 off 33 overs. Best batting:  Michael Bellamy 31 runs N/O; Daniel Lawrence 31 runs.
City won on first innings.
What a great night for City United celebrating their Christmas Party watching 1st grade win under lights on No. 1 Oval?  You can’t get much better than that!  It really was a magical night.
City United currently sits in 5thposition on the ladder with 31.73 point.

2nd Grade: City won the toss and elected to bowl.
Old Boys were dismissed for a total of 88 runs in the 25th over. Best bowling:  Neil Cooke 6/16 off 8 overs; Pat Dwyer 2/26 off 8 overs; Chris Langston 2/15 of 4.3 overs.
In reply City was dismissed for a total of 86 runs in the 23rd over. Best batting:  Chris Langston 20 runs;  John Miskle 16 runs; Josh Bennie 14 runs.

In reply Old Boys was dismissed for a total of 110 runs in the 37th over. Best bowling:  Peter Mead 3/14 off 6 overs; Lachie Cooke 3/20 off 6 overs.
