It’s not in the spirit of the game.

I attended another TDCA Board of Control meeting last night as City United’s representative as every club has a representative. Last night was the third occasion this season that a player had been cited to appear “for bringing the game into disrepute” because of comments that he placed on Facebook. All player and supporters are reminded to be very, very mindful of what is posted on social media. The Tamworth District Cricket Association has from the start of the season made it an inclusion of the "code of conduct" so any inappropriate, derogatory and harassment comments made towards another player, umpire or official relating to the Tamworth Competition will not be tolerated and will result in action being taken by the TDCA.

The TDCA is also stamping down on inappropriate language, verbal abuse or dissent directed towards an umpire or follow players during the matches. This behaviour is not in the spirit of the game and will not be tolerated. City United fully supports the stand taken by the TDCA on this matter.

As my dear mum always says if you haven’t got anything nice to say, don’t say it.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  where we play for the love of it CITY
